So I was really excited, I rarely go out shopping for second hand goods mainly because I don't like taking the kids. However I did recently go and I found these I was thrilled, Julian not so much. The garage may be a little out of hand at the moment. So I need some help.
The wine rack $5.99, I just loved it when I saw it, I know it can be something (other than a wine rack) but I am not sure what. If you've seen any cool ideas leave me a link, pretty please!
I have a bread box but I want to use this as storage, I haven't decided whether it will go in the kitchen or the craft room. Again if you have seen any bread box posts, leave me a link. have been googling but I'm still not sure.
Anyway, I still love my finds but for the sake of Julian's sanity I really need to start doing something with my huge pile of stuff in the garage.
What are you hoarding?
Mel xo
Great finds, Mel! I love the chairs they are adorable.
ReplyDeleteAwesome finds! I especially love the chairs and wine rack :) very cool!
ReplyDeletedid you look on pinterest for ideas? I'm sure I've seen something for wine racks and bread boxes!
ReplyDeletecool wine rack- love to see what you do with it. I hoard way too much stuff, really need a de-stash :)
ReplyDeleteHave a fab day, E xx
Good luck! If I started hoarding anything other than fabric, the hubby might lose it.
ReplyDeleteGreat finds. I hope you have better luck doing something with your finds than I do with my own finds. I am sure you'll come up with something brilliant. Those chairs are great.
ReplyDeleteI hoard fabric. It has gotten completely out of hand!
ReplyDeleteThose chairs are so adorable. I've been looking for a bread box like that one for a while now to use for... ummm... bread. Ha! What a concept. I hardly ever use things the way they're meant to be used. This would be a first... if I ever find one. Can't wait to see what you do with yours. :)
ReplyDeleteWe had a bread box just like that and we donated it. Then I saw how people were painting them and putting some holes in the back for chords and using them for charging stations...too cool. I want my bread box back!!! Those chairs are a steal too. I can't wait to see what you do.
ReplyDeleteThere was a great round-up on uses for wine racks a few days ago, I'll see if I can find it again - it might have been on Hometalk :-) Unbelievable price on those chairs !
ReplyDeleteCutie pie chairs! I hoard fabric, anything wood, lamps... I could go on and on and on. Even I know it has to stop!
ReplyDeletehey big sis!!
ReplyDeleteRE: the wine rack....
how bout a (super cute) beachy shabby chic distressed (you know what i mean??) rolled towel holder for your bathroom/ensuite (when you get around to doing them...)
or how bout this novel idea???
use your wine rack to hold....
wait for it......
10 SUPER DELICIOUS bottles of pink moscato, so you'll always have some 'nectar of the gods' mummy juice on hand for when i drop by... GENIUS!!!!
:) (lol)
I love thrift shopping too, but with the kids....that's only because they are older and it's cheaper to shop there. Looks like you scored some great deals! I am very excited to see what you do with everything!
ReplyDeleteGreat finds! If it's only your garage that is a problem- well, that is no problem at all! :) My hoarding has extended to the basement and the office, and a closet or two.... :P Those chairs are adorable. The wine rack- hmmm, maybe take it apart and use the sides as frames- little round pics of the kiddos would look adorable in the openings.
ReplyDeleteOh, those chairs are good finds!!
ReplyDeleteOoh I love the chairs! I cant wait to see what you do with the wine rack - you will do something brilliant I know. And the bread bin - I have one I use for storage (http://northshoredays.blogspot.co.nz/2011/11/kitchen-cupboard-makeover.html)

You could use the wine rack some where to store magazines or catalogs rolled up neatly. you could paint a bright color and it would be a great mod conversation piece. I have a table and chairs that i want to redo when it warms up!
