Happy Australia Day!

Happy Australia Day, before we fire up the Barbie, I thought I would share some True Blue funnies.

We get to play live action Angry Birds....It's not as fun as you think!



That's a Magpie for those not familiar and during nesting season hey swoop and it's horrifying.


We are well prepared for any disaster, this is our evacuation plan.



This is how those in North America view our beautiful country.



Beware of the drop bears!

    Happy Australia Day, Mel! I wasn't sure exactly what it was about, so I googled it. Similar to Canada day, our birthday as a nation, but more. Enjoy your long weekend!

    I think the reason Canadians and Australians get along so well is that we have pretty much the same attitude. The beer gives us courage to face all the stuff that can kill us! Hope you had a fun day!

    Do you do fireworks too? I saw footage of Australia's New Years celebration including the largest (world?) fireworks display. It was really beautiful! You really know how to party! Happy Australia Day, Mel!
