Elizabeth's Room....Before!

Hey Guys,

I've finished my craft room, and I got straight into doing Elizabeth's room, in fact finished the craft room and started on hers the same day, so I haven't even had a chance to do "reveal" photos and now its full of stuff from the work happening in her room. So that post will probably never happen!

Here's what her room looked like before. Don't you love how I never even try to hide the mess, one day I'll be embarrassed, but not today.

Not really right for a 12 year old. So I set up a Pinterest Board for the two of us and asked her to Pin everything she liked and I would see what I could do, I do love that she thinks I can build a grandfather clock, I do hate that she'll be sorely disappointed when I don't build a clock!

  2. What??? You can't make a grandfather clock on your silhouette thingy???? I'm shocked! I know it's all going to be fabulous!

  3. What a great space to work with! Love seeing her name across the wall! You know you can "draw" a grandfather clock on the wall and attach real workings. Imagine the possibilities of a somewhat wonky clock with graphics of her likes all around or on it.

  4. It's going to be fun to see it when it's finished. I'm sure she's excited, and I think it's cool you let her make a Pinterest board for inspiration. :)

  7. I remember not being able to walk in my sons room without stepping on lego or some toy. Sometimes you couldn't see the floor! I am pretty sure you could throw a grandfather clock together in your new craft room. And how wonderful that your daughter thinks her mom can do anything! Looking forward to see what the two of you do!

  9. Love the furniture. What mess?! Can't wait to see what you do, even if you don't bother to build a grandfather clock. Though I think you should try. :)

  10. I love her name on the wall...does she plan to reuse it? I can't wait to see the reveal. I miss getting to decorate my daughter and son's rooms. At almost 25 and 19, they really don't need my help...:( I will just have to enjoy looking at yours. Have a lovely day!

    Blessings, Vicky

  11. Elizabeth must feel so special. It's finally her turn for some updates. I am sure the room looks stunning. I have to laugh that she hoped for a grandfather clock :)

  13. I don't see any mess! Her room is already cute, love that patchwork bedspread! Can't wait to see what you do with it, and somehow I'm feeling there's going to be some kind of clock decor.

Thanks for taking the time to leave a comment, between housework and 5 kids, this is the only thing I get out of bed for ;)
