No Glue Washer Pendants, yes please!
So after I made the tiles and thought I was such genius in the world I had the scraps. I hate wasting the leftovers and as I was packing them away I spotted the washers and thought hmm and so I made 8 washer pendants in around 20 minutes. So actaully 10 minutes per pendant is a lie it's much quicker than that.
Here are my scraps from yesterday (go here if you need to know how I made these)
Cut to size
Stick it on and trim the excess with an exacto knife.
Use up all the scraps.
DIY Delight or Disaster? Well aside from how quick they were to make you can't tell the difference between them and the ones using modpodge and dimensional magic. Absolutely a delight!
I love these Mel and they are so colourful. I tried making a few washer necklaces with nail polish just didn't work out. Loving you last few projects
ReplyDeleteThese are so cute....and I love the fact that there is NO GLUE...lol!
ReplyDeleteOh how fun! I have terrible exacto knife skills though! I always feel like there is a trick to that tool that everyone knows but me!
ReplyDeleteThey are adorable, Mel! I'm with Danni on the exacto knife..I stink at it. ;)
ReplyDeleteI believe Danni's skills of using every piece of a craft item has rubbed off on you, Mel, which is a good thing! This is such a clever idea and the washers look absolutely charming!!!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE them! I went and checked the tiles and they are fabulous too. hmmm my list of new tools to buy keeps on growing, I'm glad this is not that expensive.
ReplyDeleteVery cute! I have a ton of scraps that I never know what to do with, but can't bear to throw away.
ReplyDeleteI can see this catching on with a certain girl crowd. Easy, affordable, customizable, collectible.
ReplyDeleteDefinitely a delight!

ReplyDeleteWhat a fun and super easy project. Do you leave the back all natural or do you add paper to the reverse as well?
ReplyDeleteSo cute! i was wondering what you were going to do with your scraps. And see, you are right on top of all my needs. :)
ReplyDeleteHaha! So cute!!

Neat trick. I like these. Who would have ever thought of wearing washers as jewelry. Love your blog, as well. I, also, make jewelry, but not out of washers. check it out! http://www finishingtouchesbyanne.com
